Commandments of La Dolce Vita

Starting December 2010, I am compiling a set of rules I call The Commandments of La Dolce Vita.

As a result of my exposure to Italian culture, I picked up on something: Italian cultural behavior follows a set of rules.

I think that Italians tend to adhere to certain tenets of wisdom that are generally accepted across age and other demographic barriers.

If you know an Italian or have been to Italy, maybe you’ll agree with me.

Commandments of La Dolce Vita

1.  Clean Your Plate

2. Don’t Snack

3. You Can’t Take It With You

4. Fare la Bella Figura (Keep Up Appearances)

5. How to Drink Coffee
